Is the business modeler download only available for Windows and not for Mac?

Yes that's correct, currently the modeler only runs on Windows.

Try "Parallels desktop" or "VMware Fusion" on a Mac. Works great for me!

Or install a bootcamp windows partition on your mac

Too bad there isn't any support for the Mac users. Looks like a great tool, but I won't spend any money buying a while new OS just to use this one tool. .
