I think you can use flash in combination with mendix. But what do you mean with "when styling" ?

You should be able to embed various kinds of elements by using the HTMLSnippet widget, https://docs.mendix.com/appstore/widgets/html-javascript-snippet – this means that whatever you can achieve with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/etc. is possible in Mendix.

Though just a word of caution, Flash has had End-of-Life as of the end of 2020. You may want to look for a solution that is still supported. ( https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html )
