Today I have been playing with a couple of the tutorials for creating widgets. When I reached the Advanced tutorial, I had trouble getting it to work. Link to the tutorial: https://world.mendix.com/pages/releaseview.action?pageId=7635351 After meticulously going through the code and comparing it with the code I created with the Beginner tutorial I found out that there was one step missing for the "actSetupSearchBar" paragraph. It forgets to mention that you have to add a call to this.actSetupSearchBar(); in the postCreate function. Cheers!
