Recently we have updated the Mendix Business server to version 4.2.1 (previously release 2.5.3). With this upgrade the new Mendix license structure is implemented. The activation of the license worked without any issues. However when the subsequent updates of the application is deployed the license disappears in the application and need to be reactivated. Is there a way to retain the license during a deployment?

It appears that indeed another user had deployed accidently against this database. A new deployment has been tested without changing the user account that runs the service. The license now remains valid.
