Lognode: Caching

I'm getting a lot of errors in the log like: Lognode: Caching Message: java.lang.NullPointerException It seems that this error occurs when working with filedocuments in Mendix. Does anyone know what the lognode "Caching" means?

The caching lognode is the lognode that prints logs concerning the Mendix object cache. I wonder what is exactly in your log though, as it should never print JUST the nullpointer exception.
