Separating multiple email addresses using Email Module

I am using the Adv Email Module, and would like to provide the option to send out emails to multiple receivers. The documentation does not give any information if requires the email addresses separated with a , or a ; or if it is possible at all. Would anybody be able to tell me if this can be done and what format to use? Thanks!
