I'm working on a RFP for an application with lots of Business intelligence like reporting. Variable selections and variable report content, sorting, layout and output. All of this should be integrated in the mendix application (no visible separate tooling). What is the best way to do this? Are there already integrations with specific BI-tools present? Will BI functionality be a future feature of the Mendix modeler?
I can tell you a few things. I know there are implementations for Mendix with Jasper Reports. I do not know what the experience of both the developers and/or the end-users is. What I can tell you is that we have a builtin solution for BI with MRS. You will have to run MS SQL though.
