Run PostgresDB on Apple and connect in VM

Has anyone tried to get this to work? I tried to get up and running but the sandboxing is very good i.e. I do not get a connection from my Windows instance in VM to my DB on IOS 10.8.4. Silly question from a newby to Mendix. Thanks for looking! Mark

Yes, I've got it working, on VMWare Fusion. Try the hostname: macname.local

Replace 'macname' with the network name of your Mac.
