Apply context in datagrid not working in 4.5.0 and 4.5.1

We have some datagrids in which we use the Apply context functionality. This was working fine till we upgraded to 4.5.0 (and still not working in 4.5.1). The grids now do not display any data anymore. When replacing the context by an xpath the records are displayed. Anyone experiences this issue as well?

Yes, but only with projects which are migrated from mendix 2.4 to 3 or 4. We had similar issues in the past with this property. In earlier versions of Mendix this property was used more, because it was default on true, than in the recent ones. It's better not to use this one and use xpath instead.
