I am currently building an application that needs to generate PDF forms which need to be exactly the same as some existing PDF's that the company already have, but with Mendix data included. There is about 25 PDFs and I am bit reluctant to recreate all of the applications in document templates. Is there any way to convert the existing PDF's so that they can receive certain data from Mendix. All the PDFs are editable pdf's with text boxes and check boxes. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

There is a java library where you can overlay pdf documents. It is somewhere mentioned here
in the forum. You simple stitch the pdf on top of each other. I think this will solve your problem.
