I noticed that the empty grid label widget is not working properly with "Data grid" and "template grid"in Mendix 4.5.2. I've used the with- and without context add-ons and both of them just continue show the label/caption whether there is data or not. I have placed the widget (without context) in the second row of the table where the grid is in the first row. So just in the row below the grid is. Can you verify if this is correct? I noticed that the app is labeled "Mendix Version 3.0"

You are correct, it doesn't seem to be working as expected. I suggest you file a bug report for this.

I just created a test project in 4.5.2, and the empty grid label seems to work just fine.
