Restart Scheduler

I have mapped a microflow to scheduled_Event with a repeat interval of every 5 minutes. Microflow has a java action to copy the file from FTP and store it in System.FileDocument Generalized entity. When an exception occurs as connection timed out or file size is too large to copy then the scheduler in scheduled events gets failed or keeps on running status. Are there any ways to restart the scheduler except manually restart the Mendix server itself?

No, but I do have an work around that I used with a client. I did not make 1 scheduled event but made several different ( so instead of 1 scheduled event every 5 minutes you could make 12 scheduled events running running every hour). This way you could restart the server in your time instead of having to reset during business hours :)
