Changing language, display interface in selected language without using url redirect

I managed to change the language of the current user using a microflow that changes the language of the current user. The problem is that although the langauge of the current user is french (for the sake of example) the interface is displayed in english. Is there any other way of displaying the interface in the correct language without using url redirector?
