Custom Request handler in Sandbox Could App services Fails

I have created an request handler, just like the deeplink module for the path 'directFile/' Locally the handler works fine. Now I am deploying the the app in the sandbox, and it does not work. Unfortunate the logging on my node is broken, so I can not get any feedback. Is it possible to use a custom request handler in a sandbox? Kind regards, Andries
