Show deployment version on the web client

Dear forum, I was wondering whether there is any possible way to show the deployment version number (this can be the same as autogenerate version on deployment package). We are using 4.7.x and 5.8.1 Any advise is welcome. Regards, Panayu

In previous versions we were able to read from a Java action the metadata.json (field: "ModelVersion": "1.9.0.9923") This file is in the model folder of the deployment. In development mode the ModelVersion is not available.
