How can I deselect a document with the filemanager

When using the filemanager from Mendix, is it possible to deselect a file after I've intially selected one? I've tried backspace (which works on a reference selector) but that doesn't allow me to deselect the document...

This issue is mainly browser related, (being able to edit the input box would be a serious security issue; every website would be able to download any file from your computer(!) by manipulating the input field using script).

Anyway, I suggest filing a feature request, maybe the client team can invent something, like an additional button which resets the input or something like that.
