how to you change "very special" x symbol (×, hex d7 or something like that) in the close dialogues. I'm having trouble styling mendix with bootstrap if you can change it to a normal "x" (hex 78) or "X" (hex 58) will do fine thankyou

The character used as the close icon for dialogs and popups is the multiplication sign, the same character as is used in Bootstrap modals. How exactly does this cause trouble when styling? Are you using the default index.html? If not, does the issue also occur there?

I ended up having to download fontforge and copy the X glyph into some russian glyph mendix was using instead of the multiplication sign...eish...mendix
