Editors for formatting widget.xml and widget.js files on GitHub?

Hello Mendix community: I believe that I'm getting close to either adding a couple of minor features to or fixing minor bugs in a couple of Mendix widgets available on the Mendix GitHub site. I have been unable to find a list of suitable editors that will allow me to edit both widget.xml and widget.js files that will maintain proper indent spacing and other Mendix-approved formatting choices. Can anyone suggest editors that will provide the proper indentation and formatting style out of the box? Thanks, John
