Is it possible to play sound in Mendix (browser) client (e.g. signal at events or background sound)?

Well, it is possible to play sounds using HTML markup, so its possible to play sound in the mendix client. In mendix 2.4 you could place a sound player in the index3.html file, in mendix 2.5 you might build a widget for it.

If you want to play or control the sound from your model; that cannot be achieved (easily) using mendix 2.4
