FormatString widget runs into exception during refresh of context object

I noticed that the FormatString widget did not respond anymore to context object updates (refresh in client in microflows). It appears that it does attempt to do something but runs into an exception. This can be seen in the test project of the GitHub format string project. There are other problems as well: The JavaScript version seems to have some issues too, clearly visible in the test pages. Version 3.1.1 does update correctly, even in Mx5.14
