May one post mpk files on github? If my content is open source, will there be some legal ramifications if I post an mpk file or project on GitHub? Thankyou

Yes you may post mpk files on github. Most Mendiix projects on github have a whole directory with a complete test project so that anybody working with you on this project can add stuff.
