Print Pop Up Layout

Is there a way to set print parameters so my users can print the view of a pop up screen? Right now it tries to print all the data on the background screen as well and/or only prints one page of the data on the pop up.

There is specific "Print CSS" that will help you. See for example https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2011/11/how-to-set-up-a-print-style-sheet/. More about media type is found at W3schools.
