Some geniuses at our group demand we make a custom search thing instead of using the already awesome-extreme mxgrid search. Are there similar widgets to the mxgrid from the appstore or somewhere else that does the awesome-extreme caching and searching etc. tricks that the mxgrid does? Thankyou very much

Yes, we created a generic search engine within Mendix. It's not in the Appstore yet. If you can't wait because you need it for a customer's project please contact me pim@appronto.nl
