Can I change the size of the upload field to make the length equal to the other fields in the form.

You can assign a class (the class attribute) name to the widget and add a rule to your index.html (or index3.html in < mx 2.5) to set the width. It might be possible to directly use the style attribute of the widget, by setting it to 'width : 300px', but i'm not sure if the last solution will work.
