Unable to get property getFocusStack of undefined or null reference

When I CHANGE a function with the CHANGE button and then do nothing on the screen and leave the function with the button CANCEL the following error is issued. Unable to get property 'getFocusStack' of undefined or null reference" I upgrade to Mendix 5.17. All my functions that uses a 'change button' have the same error only when I do nothing on the screen and leave with the CANCEL button.
