Mendix modeler crash on sleep mode

Some of my colleagues have had this issue before but it did not seem reproducable. However, since i upgraded to windows 10 i seem to have this issue consistently. Whenever i let my computer enter sleep mode (after x idle time) it crashes. I have tested this with several other programs open but none of them seem to cause this issue, just the mendix modeler. Is there anyone else that has this issue?

We have a Windows 10 laptop here but we cannot reproduce it. We tried explictly sleeping with the Sleep command, closing the lid and letting the laptop fall asleep itself. In all cases, the laptop woke up with the Modeler still active.

Edit: Oops, do not try the .NET 3.5 hint I posted earlier. I forgot that we moved to a minimum of .NET 4.0 recently :-)
