Show header/footer on first page = false in document template hides footer from *all* pages

Hi, I have the following issue when setting Show header/footer on first page to false: the footer is not shown on all pages of the generated pdf document. I have tried with different template options (putting first page into different table, data view, generating word document, etc.), but the problem persists. Any advice would be highly appreciated.
