Danny, thank you for the work. My only comment would be that it would be nice if Mendix would stick to one chart framework. I think it is the fourth framework now that is being used since I started working with Mendix. And yes I prefer to use the framework supported by Mendix because of the widget updates. So kudo's for all the work and I hope that this framework will stick for the next couple of years :)
Regards,
Ronald
[EDIT]
On Topic I would like to see the Gauge charts, Histograms and Time series. And the custom controls dropdown would be very nice.
Hi Danny,
Really nice.
Would it be an option to implement the filled area plots and combine it with the line chart? This way you can use different colors for several sets and make an easy vizualization if the lines(from the line chart options) are in the danger zone, warning zone or all good zone.
Regards,
We frequently see requests for the following charts. They all have different use cases, but seem to be popular amongst clients for dashboarding and reporting purposes.
Gauge: https://plot.ly/javascript/gauge-charts/
Timeseries: https://plot.ly/javascript/time-series/
Heatmaps: https://plot.ly/javascript/heatmaps/
Whilst on the subject, histograms and bubblecharts would be great additions too!
A requirement that we often have is to export the charts in a pdf.
So it would be great if there's a way to generate and image of the same chart server side.
Hi Danny,
I often see the need to combine chart types, especially for combining bar & line data sets. Is that a possibility?
Cheers!
