Hi there Has Anybody used Mendix as a "wrap around" for PowerBI reports by passing row level security from the Mendix userroles and system architecture structure? We have used a ETL tool to massage large amounts data and want to expose it via Mendix. We want to use Medix's Userrole based security to control what is expose in Power BI by passing row level security from Mendix to Power BI. My question is....Has anybody used the PowerPI API with row level security from Mendix and if they have, would they share information? Regards, Patrick

The OData connection takes into account the security of the application. So if a user uses the OData connection with his credentials OData should only show the records the user is allowed to see. We did a POC with PowerBI and have seen that this is indeed working. Have you tried this and are you telling that the OData connector gives more info than the user should be able to see?
