Sandbox deployment fails

0
I cannot deploy my app to the sandbox. I had trouble with this before. This was fixed by support but now my url is https://myapp.mxapps.io rather than mendixcloud.com. After the first deploy I cannot update the sandbox anymore. Edit: After another local deploy suddenly it succeeded. I did not change anything.

Product Manager of Mendix Cloud here. We're rolling out our new Free Edition on top of Cloud Foundry and AWS. The technology is completely revamped and we're enabling it on the free tier before we will enable this for our paid plans. There were some issues during the first weeks of the deployment which we have since fixed. The errors were completely on our side; you did not do anything wrong in the modeler.

Naturally we'll do our best to prevent things like this in the future.

The reason it is mxapps.io rather than mendixcloud.com is because all new Mendix sandbox apps are hosted on AWS. The different URL is so that people can easily differentiate between the two types of sandboxes, I believe.

I have the same issue Marcel, the initial deploy to the Sandbox fails, and nothing is shown in the application log. Did you manage to fix this problem?

I am having similar issue, "Whoops, something went wrong deploying your app to the sandbox - Visit the developer portal to see the status of your app". No logs are available on dev portal. It was working fine for me until this afternoon, I upgraded my project to 5.21.0 and started getting this issue.

I am still having issues... I reported it here: https://forum.mendix.com/questions/9023/Whoops-Something-went-wrong-while-deploying-yet-not-log-messages--Help-please and was marked as resolved (and thread was closed) but it was never solved...

Anyone in tech support reading this?
