AppCloud Services login is working even without After Start Up Microflow

I need to know why the login for the App Cloud Services working even without the After start up microflow. Actually our app design is in such a way that the user is displayed a homepage initially and then in the home page there is an option for login and register so I want the app cloud services login to be integrated in the homepage. I have tried removing the After Start up from the project settings and place it in the Login button on the homepage but it is not working. Is there any alternative for this?
