How to test configured db connection in Mendix Modeler?

I have configured SQL Server in Mendix Modeler but while running the code locally , receiving error message "Server failed to start". Please suggest that how to test  the db connections in Mendix Modeler.

Are you sure the start fails because of the db connection? There is no way to "test" db connection in the modeler instead of running the application.

What is the exact error? Is there something in the console or is the error message giving you any details?
