New known issue for Mendix 7.20

In case you missed it a new issue has been reported for Mendix 7.20.0 Startup is significantly slower than usual due to a password strength check that checks user accounts too aggressively. Apps with more than 1000 named users are strongly recommended to not upgrade until a fix is released. (Ticket 76176) ----------------- EDIT 16 Nov 2018 The issue is fixed in Mendix 7.20.1 Fixes * Startup was slowed down due to a password strength check that was done too aggressively to user accounts. This has been resolved. (Ticket 76176)

Thanks for letting us know!

What I find pretty scary is that apparently Mendix added/changed a password strength check, but this change itself is not documented in the release notes at all. Imo, if there is a change, it should be mentioned in the releases notes...

Thanks, would be nice if they would inform the users a little bit more proactively (for example by sending an e-mail).
