Widget will not work in a production environment; missing dependency

I'm trying to get a widget that was built in Mx 5.12 to work in Mx 5.20. It's based on an older version of the Pivot Table widget. So I got the latest source code from the widget's GitHub and added the custom additions again. However I keep getting an error when I run "Tools > Check Widgets", in the build log I can find the following: error(311) Missing dependency. module: NameOfWidget/widget/NameOfWidget; dependency: NameOfWidget/widget/NameOfWidget module: widgets/widgets; dependency: NameOfWidget/widget/NameOfWidget
