You could also ask for the broken modeler so that you can continue your work. But you should not do a release based on this broken version.
I had a similar issue in the past. Support told me that they don’t want to offer the broken modeler as download, but they will do on request.
Normally, you can download the latest Studio Pro version on https://appstore.home.mendix.com/link/modelers/
In this case, you can either wait for a version that is functional (https://docs.mendix.com/releasenotes/studio-pro/8.2 is retracted) or request a downgrade by submitting a ticket to support.mendix.com
