Mendix Studio, the web modeler, is meant for the ‘citizen developer’, users from the business with no real technical background, who can use the Mendix Studio web version to quickly make prototypes for their ideas.

Mendix Studio Pro, the desktop modeler, is meant for the full stack developer, who can fully create an app with it.

If you don’t want to use Mendix Studio Pro and you prefer a web version to develop, you can use the Mendix Studio. If it is configured, you can run the Mendix Studio from your sprintr. Please keep in mind, that the Mendix Studio does not have the same amount of features as the Mendix Studio Pro.
