Mendix desktop version as offline app?

Hi, a client has a use case for using a mendix app offline on their laptop. I know offline is possible for mobile, but would there be any option to use the desktop version offline as well? Any experience with wrappers like Electron?   Thanks in advance!

Hi Wouter,

Yes it is possible to create a Progressive Web App with offline capabilities using Mendix, but it is (as far as I know still) not officially supported. I created a working PoC using Mendix and Chrome once, perhaps you could do that as well with the most recent mendix version to see if all functionality necessary for your use case can be stably provided in a pwa.
