We are thinking about an app to register how many persons are present on specific locations in a building with many floors. Has anyone built something like this in mendix? Geolocation indoor seems no solution at first sight. I was thinking about a simple mobile app where someone has to scan a qr code when he enter or leaves a zone. Or can I use beacon technology?

Are bluetooth beacons an option? Because then you only have to register a user once and can track his location throughout the building.
