Improve the UX of the idea forum

The idea forum looks good but it doesn't work very handy for me. Some examples:

When browsing through ideas I really miss the possibility to open an idea in another tab so I can continue browsing other ideas.
When searching, I get search results that don't make sense (search for “constant” and you also get results for “constraints” and “content”).
When searching, the search result panel is volatile: if you accidentally click outside of it, the search results disappear and you need to start all over again.

The effect on me is that I don't vote on many ideas and I spend time struggling to get to the right ideas.

So I think it would be helpful for developers and idea-submitters if the general user experience of this forum would be improved.
