Requesting the Feauture of Combo box Widget

I would like to request a feature enhancement for the combo box widget. It would be highly beneficial to have an option to set a minimum input length before the dropdown starts filtering and displaying results. For example, if we set the minimum input length to 3, the dropdown should only begin searching and filtering data after the user has entered at least 3 characters. This feature would help reduce load time and improve performance, especially when dealing with large data sets.
