As far as I know there is no widget implemented in the standard Mendix package. You have to add new widgets from the marketplace in order to implement this feature.
You can find some comboboxes I know work well here:
P.S. read the documentation carefully, because sometimes these widgets can be a bit difficult to configure if you do it for the first time
