How to put new-button in Datagrid 2

Hello, I would like to put a "new"-button in a datagrid 2, above the list. In a column in each row - as it is usual for edit or delete - is not helpful, especially when the list is still empty. How can I achieve this? Thank you and have a nice day, Miriam

Hi Miriam Klingen,

As you do in normal Data Grid from Data Grid 2 also you can use this area to add Widgets like button. Pls refer the below image.

I misunderstood your question, yes in DG2 also you can have create button see below, if you don't see this space to place button, please upgrade your widget , you can search Data widgets module in marketplace

Hi Miriam,

you can give checkbox in datagrid2 so select some row by checkbox

and put a button above datagrid2 and check which object has check box as true and do your operaion.

With the most recent dg2, when you change the datasource to another entity, Mx asks you if it should autogenerate the columns, etc. Mx will aslo place a New button above your dg2.
