Unable to download Mendix project

Hi All , While downloading a Mendix project i am getting this error message "fatal: unable to access 'https://git.api.mendix.com/cabe89e2-0dd3-44c8-961c-b536e5fa008f.git/': SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate " Could anyone please help on this issue .

This is due to an issue with the SSL certificate when connecting to the Mendix Git repository

you can set up a proxy or adjust your system's SSL certificate settings.
