How to change the Active Workspace Search in TC Connector Application Sample

Hello there, I was testing the Teamcenter Connector Application Sample and I had a problem when searching for an item. The application throws me an error, where it indicates that it is trying to find the item with Active Workspace. The question is, is it possible to search without Active Workspace? If possible, what should I modify for that?

You can not use this functionality if your env has no Active Workspace.
