File Manager and system.filedocument.

how to connect data view to the system.filedocument ?   I need to upload the file in my application following this link  https://docs.mendix.com/refguide/file-manager and it is mentioned that file manager  must be placed inside a data view connected to the entity System.FileDocument or a specialization thereof. How to work with that procedure ?
