The ability to assign lists of the same types to each other, even if they are separate entities of different names. A check can be made before declaring it impossible to be assigned.
Also, if the entities are generalized by a common entity and have no OTHER attributes it must be known that they are of the same type stored separately only for convenience. hence, allowed to perform list actions between them.
