I am working with Tableau from Mendix data. Is there a way to connect multiple entities (parent, child, child of child, etc)? It seems like there can only be one primary key and if they are not directly connected, then it causes the secondary data source that is not directly connected to have the value of null or remain empty. How can I make it work across entities? Showing three entities generally shows up with two columns working and the third null.

I have no Tableau experience but in PowerBI you can manually create the reference between the entities and it will most of the time recognice what the element is to connect these entities. Sometimes you have to explicitly point the program in the right direction. Might there be such option in Tableau?
