String parameter for Report Grid and individual row selection in report grid

Hello Mendix Family, I am using OQL query for my reporting purpose. But the output I get in Report Grid is not really flexible for me. For example, I can not add string parameters and can not select each row in the report grid individually? I can not use Zoom functionality per each individual row in the report grid. Can you please suggest how you dealt with these situations. Thankyou
