Because you commit in a microflow, Mendix doesn’t commit automatically referenced objects.

The default save/commit button will commit referenced objects from a page. But since you decide to create your own custom logic in a microflow, Mendix puts the responsibility of committing also in you hands. Just retrieve the ZI object(s) by association and commit
