We have an on-prem Mendix app with database size of 450MB but the Sql log file touching 90 GB, which is almost 200 times the size of database. I came across this article https://docs.mendix.com/developerportal/operate/database-size-reduction/ and was wondering if this is going to help or it might cause other performance issues. I can either do backup-restore or shrink the log file using SSMS. Any experience or insight in this matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
